Care instructionsAll fabric tops are treated with Scotchgardâ„¢ fabric protector. Reapply as needed. Cherry footstools are completed with a hand-rubbed oil finish. Occasionally wipe with quality furniture oil. Walnut and white oak footstools are finished with a durable lacquer finish and can be treated with the same care as your other wood furniture.

Sizing detailsAll Heirloom Footstool styles are approximately the same dimensions: 9 inches high x 19 inches long x 13 inches wide.

Can I use my own fabric?Yes, but it must be upholstery grade fabric. If you are not sure of grade, ask your local fabric shop or designer. For all custom tops, a $30 fee is applied to final total.

Gift wrapping and packagingIt is of the utmost importance that your footstool arrives safe and sound. Each one is packed with care in a double-corrugated heavy duty box. I offer hand-written, personalized notes for gifted footstools on Heirloom Footstool stationery. I'd be happy to work with you to send a gift...send me your details! No gift wrapping available.

Do the tops interchange just in case I want a second top?Yes....all Heirloom Footstools have the same inner dimensions allowing the fabric tops to be interchanged. Each top is firmly secured with Velcro fastener and can easily be taken off and replaced. You can make seasonal changes with an additional footstool top or just refresh your design look. Save on a second top! When shopping on my Etsy site, if you purchase a second top at the same time of your initial footstool purchase you can use the EXTRATOP coupon and receive a $15 discount.

Can the footstool be customized?Customization may encompass a number of possibilities. Please contact me with your request and I will discuss your vision with my production partner. Please note, an additional fee will be applied.
